Barbara Stewart - Owner of Olde Central Antique Mall

 MG 6186

Bobbie Stewart, a local favorite, long-time Chamber Ambassador, and owner of the  Olde Central Antiques Mall in Port Orchard is our featured Chamber member of the month.

Originally from the San Diego area, Bobbie and Jim, her husband of 33 years, moved to Kitsap County fifteen years ago. Twelve years ago, she landed a position working as the manager of the Olde Central Antiques Mall, and in 2005 she bought the business. Since then, Bobbie has been a lasting and endearing thread that has helped to bind the fabric of Port Orchard's colorful tapestry. Many agree that we are blessed to have her in our community.

Surprisingly, this spunky lady is a former LPGA Golf Professional! Needless to say, she has been a blessing on our SK Golf Classic Committee. She doesn't talk much about her old days back at Singing Hills Golf course in California, but ask her about Port Orchard or her business today and she'll keep you listening.

Olde Central Antique MallWhen asked how she'd describe her business, she touts its collections from 45 quality dealers of fine collectibles and antiques. A true testament to a solid business model that counts on repeat and tourism traffic, Olde Central Antiques Mall is open to the public seven days a week, and to that end she has kept her doors open and kept clientele coming back for more.

Aside from her family of four children (three daughters and a son) and nine grandchildren, Bobbie loves being an entrepreneur and wants our downtown Bay Street area to grow and attract lots of tourists and visitors. She has grand visions for Port Orchard to be considered the "Best Destination in Kitsap." She feels we have a lot to offer and she particularly likes the area on Bay Street with its historic buildings, the Sidney Art GalleryLog Cabin, and off course all of our wonderful events.

Olde Central Antique MallWhen asked about what she likes about the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce, Bobbie responded. "Being a Chamber Ambassador makes me feel like a part of the whole community." She thanked us for providing the opportunity to be an Ambassador, but really, we're the lucky ones. Thank you, Bobbie for everything you have done and continue to do for Port Orchard!

Tiffanie Miner-Hannaford - Owner of Pauly's Paw Spa

69436 4978257336267 1318842545 nThough born in Colorado, being an Army brat, she lived in a variety of places before her family finally settled in Port Orchard so her dad could work at PSNS. In high school, she completed two summer long internships at local veterinary clinics with the goal of attending the veterinary medicaine program at WSU. Though accepted into the program, rather than attending, Tiffanie became a Navy spouse, traveling the country with her husband instead. Eventually, she and her husband returned to Kitsap County, and Tiffanie spent nine months in a grooming internship before opening a mobile pet salon servicing Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

After that, she began working at Bethel Animal Hospital as a groomer, before ultimately opening Pauly's Paw Spa here in Port Orchard. Tiffanie has eight years of grooming experience, and works hard to present a relaxing and enjoyable grooming experience.

When not working at Pauly's Paw Spa, Tiffanie enjoys traveling with her husband (a quadripalegic rugby player for Seattle Slam), encouraging her three kids and her husband in sports, and spending time with her family and dogs, camping and fishing.

Tiffanie loves that the Port Orchard Chamber provides her opportunities to network in the community and participate in local events.

She provides a grooming experience unlike any other-- check it out!

Angie Powell - January 2014

When asked what she would like for Chamber members to know about her and the Walmart store Angie manages, Angie replied, "I appreciate the amazing 300 employees that "I" work for.  I admire their common vision, dedication, and commitment to help save our customer's money so they can live better.  My team works hard, and I am blessed to be part of this great group of people and work environment."
